If you want a natural and true organic sound like crystal clean water gurgling down a mountain stream then you will be mesmerized playing and feeling the sound of Motherland’s Bobo Mali balafon. Tuning scale is F major pentatonic starting with a low G, sometimes we have available other scales and tuning, feel free to call us about that. The wood for the keys is called goni (pterocarpus erinaceus) a quality West African musical instrument wood, the gourd resonators below each key amplify it’s sound. Two rubber tipped playing mallets are provided with each instrument.
