Shurti Box

Description

The Shurti Box is a traditional Indian musical instrument used primarily to produce continuous harmonic drone. It is similar to a Harmonium but lacks keys and operates manually by opening and closing bellows to maintain airflow. The Shruti Box is widely used  in classical Indian music, devotional singing, and contemporary fusion music. Providing a functional tonal foundation for other instruments and vocals. It is crafted from high quality wood and typically features brass or copper reeds for rich tones.
