Goat hide -shaved

Description

Full goat hide from Mali West Africa with some trimmed off areas around the edges. Very nice rawhide for drum building and repair work. all hides are hand shaved and final smooth finish done after installation. Choose by thickness. Sizes vary but all are good for making at least one large djembe, and sometimes two medium or four small.

Here are the approximate thicknesses

Med/Thin: 0.35 to 0.55 mm

Medium: 0.60 to 0.75 mm

Mediun Thick: 0.80 to 1.0 mm

Thick: more than 1 mm
