Description
Full goat hide from Mali West Africa with some trimmed off areas around the edges. Very nice rawhide for drum building and repair work. Choose either hand shaved or with hair, and by thickness. Sizes vary but all are good for making at least one large djembe or two medium, or four small.
Here are the approximate thicknesses
Thin: 0.15 to 0.30 mm
Med/Thin: 0.35 to 0.55 mm
Medium: 0.60 to 0.75 mm
Mediun Thick: 0.80 to 1.0 mm
Thick: more than 1 mm
