Description
Ting ting ting ti-ti ting. Cradled loosely in the hands palm and struck with a metal striker, included with all bells. The toke has a ringy orchestral triangle sound. It is available in three sizes, basically three pitches, metal thickness trumps pitch more than length, if you are ordering multiple sizes we will make sure you get a nice range of pitches. Traditional throughout Ghana and parts of Ivory Coast this instrument is referred to by a number of different names including; toke (toe-kay), atoke, apitua, banana bell, boat bell, taco bell, and others.
The sound can vary depending on the thickness of the metal. A smaller size may have a similar tone to a large size. We can find three tones even with two sizes available.
