Description

This type of shaker is made from a dried gourd that has a naturally shaped handle and a bulbous end that allows for a beaded net to cover it. The sound is loud, lively, and aggressive. Slight sound variations can occur in each shaker depending the actual thickness and hardness of the particular gourd used.

The ube seed shaker is perfect if you need a strong penetrating sound. The seed is medicinal and use as a food source. Handcrafted in Iboland Nigeria by expert craftspeople, each shaker is unique a art piece in its self.

The shakers are sized by measuring the widest diameter of the gourd that is covered with the net, not by measuring their length.
