Padauk wood from Ghana Africa. Carved from a solid log in house at Motherland Music. Multiple sounds are produced by squeezing the ropes.
No need to use an extra mic for the drum. Sennheiser e 604 mic wired into drum. For convenience, an XLR pickup also installed.
This drum is for the serious performer who wants to set themselves apart by playing a one of a kind hand made instrument.
