Tire Rubber Bottom

Description

Installing rubber on the bottom of your drum will protect the wood for the lifetime, no more chipping or splitting the bottom edge, and playing on a hard surface makes holding the drum more secure. The tire rubber we send you is cut to 42 inches long, this covers most drum bases with a few extra inches for trimming off. Also included are gold or silver decorative tacks for side fastening (let us know if you have a color preference in shopping cart notes), and small nails for bottom nailing. We recommend pre drilling the holes if your drum is made with a dense hardwood, a Dremel tool with a 1/32 inch bit works well for this. The tacks are spaced 3/4″ apart.
