A basic component for holding a drum head to the resonating shell. Used in combination of one, two, or three rings, or not at all depending on assembly technique. The basic two ring system has a flesh ring which the skin is wrapped around and a counter hoop, sometimes called a crown or top ring. We make drums ring from metal, rattan, and rope and make available different gauge and ring diameters.
